Laboratory furniture FAQs

What laboratory furniture does Rakers manufacture?

Fume hoods (ducted and ductless), island and wall benches with epoxy or stainless tops, under-bench and tall storage units, reagent shelving, sinks and service fittings, plus complete laboratory fit-outs. Everything is fabricated in our own Lahore workshop.

Do you design the laboratory layout as well as build it?

Yes. We prepare CAD elevations and full 3D layouts from your floor plan before any fabrication begins, so you can see and adjust the design first.

Which cities do you supply and install in?

We manufacture in Lahore and deliver and install across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar.

How long does a laboratory project take?

It depends on the size of the lab and the number of fume hoods. After a site survey we give a firm schedule covering design approval, fabrication and installation.

Is the furniture chemical and corrosion resistant?

Yes. Worktops, fume-hood liners and fittings are specified for chemical resistance, and cabinets are made from powder-coated steel or stainless steel to suit the lab environment.
